The 13C NMR analysis of the obtained polymers suggested that the addition of fluorinated alcohols induced heterotactic-specificity in radical polymerization of NIPAAm, although syndiotactic poly(NIPAAm)s were obtained by adding alkyl alcohols as we have previously reported.
