| 内容記述 | 本研究は，SPODフォーラム新規開講プログラム「保育・幼児教育分野のためのFDを企画しよう」の開発を巡る取組と成果について報告するものである。保育士養成課程の多くが幼稚園教諭養成課程を併設し，文部科学省が定める幼児教育の5領域を前提に各領域に関連する専門家が教員となるが，必ずしも教員に保育に関する知見は問われていないことから，科目間の整合性や教員が一丸となって教育改善に臨む上での課題が指摘されている。このような課題に対し，筆者らは，教員が抱える課題を明らかにし，ワークショップを通じて課題解決を目指すFDを企画立案するプログラムを開発した。本プログラムを通じて，参加者の授業を振り返る機会になること，分野に共通する課題や気づきが得られること，同様の悩みを共有することで教員らの不安感の軽減に繋がることが示唆された。一方，十分な議論の時間確保や講師陣による支援の在り方についての課題も指摘された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study reports on the development and outcomes of a newly launched faculty development (FD) program titled “Designing FD for the Field of Early Childhood Education and Care,” offered at the SPOD Forum 2025. Many childcare training programs are offered alongside kindergarten teacher training courses, where subject-specific instructors are appointed based on the five domains of early childhood education defined by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). However, they are not necessarily required to have expertise in childcare, which has led to challenges in ensuring curricular coherence and in promoting collaborative educational improvement among faculty members. To address these issues, we developed a program in which participants identify challenges faced by instructors in this field and collaboratively design FD initiatives through workshops. The program provided participants with opportunities to reflect on their own teaching practices, gain insights into common issues across the field, and alleviate feelings of uncertainty by sharing similar concerns with peers. On the other hand, the need to secure sufficient time for group discussions and to enhance facilitator support during discussions were identified as areas for improvement. These findings suggest directions for further refinement of the program. | |||||||||
